From the event page on Women of Culture’s Website:
This Women’s History Month, we are asking, what does it mean to be a woman? What is unique about the female spirit and how do we express our femininity through art?
In today’s world , we sometimes forget to celebrate all the strength and beauty that is innately feminine, so on Friday March 22nd, we are taking the time to explore the essence of the female spirit, feminism and female empowerment. through music, dance, poetry and art.
In collaboration with the I am Series, a monthly event that connects people through art and heart, we are bringing together some of the best emerging female artists in NYC to present their work and help us celebrate all that is woman. We will also get a peek into each artist’s inspirations and creative process — plus drinks, snacks and plenty of mingling with fellow art-lovers. See pictures from our last art & performance party at Gallery Madison Park here.
