Learn how to make an Embroidery Sampler! In this class you'll learn how to make several basic stitches in embroidery, a relaxing and tactile artform that’s enjoying a resurgence in the crafty community. I will show you how to make each stitch and share best practices for when to use them. You can use the final piece as a reference for future projects, or frame it as art!

Supplies:

You will need an embroidery hoop (size 4, 5, or 6 recommended, but any size will do!), cloth, embroidery floss (I use DMC 6-stranded floss), a needle, and scissors. You may also want to have a ruler and pencil handy to make guidelines, as well as a pen that can write on fabric to label your stitches.
