Learn how to paint beautiful loose florals in this basic watercolor class! In this free class, I will teach you how to do basic watercolor techniques, create several types of flowers including roses, lavender, and greenery, and arrange a wreath.

You will learn how to:

• Do a variety of watercolor techniques including wet on wet, color bleeds, and more!

• Draw roses, lavender, greenery, and tulips with watercolor

• Create a balanced wreath

You will need the following supplies to participate:

• Watercolors of your choice (3-4 colors are fine)

• Watercolor palette for mixing

• Round brush (size 6, 8, and/or 10 are recommended, but you can use whatever you have!)

• Watercolor paper (140lb cold press is standard, but anything that's specifically for wet media will work)

• Water cup and paper towels

Don't worry about using certain brands or types of watercolors - you're welcome to use whatever you have! If you'd like to purchase something new, I’ve listed all of my favorite watercolor supplies listed on Amazon for your reference at www.amazon.com/shop/rothbyrnscreative.

The workshop will be conducted over Zoom and you will need a webcam and microphone to participate. Since this workshop is online, you will also need to have your own supplies. I look forward to seeing you there!
