Explore your creativity in this Hand Lettering Basics class! Together we'll learn about different lettering styles, practice putting together interesting layouts and combinations, and use inspiration to create something entirely unique. This class will be focused on script styles, aka: Faux Calligraphy. I'll share tips on how to create various script styles and add embellishments, as well as how to use tools like paint and chalk markers to make your letteing really pop!

In this workshop, you will:

• Be introduced to hand lettering

• Practice creating script styles with flourishes and effects

• Learn about how to mix styles

• Receive personalized feedback on your lettering layouts during the workshop

• Have the opportunity to ask me all of your burning questions about hand lettering!

Due to the current health crisis, this workshop is "pay what you can". The suggested ticket price is $35, but I understand that's not possible for everyone right now. Whether you pay $1 or $100, I appreciate you choosing to learn with me. You can also purchase this class if you're unable to make the live session but would like me to send you the recording afterwards.

The workshop will be conducted over Zoom and you will need a webcam and microphone to participate. Since this workshop is online, you will also need to have your own supplies. I will send out a supply list with links and detailed instructions about how to join the session once you have registered.
